POSITION VACANCY

POSITION TITLE:              Assistant Coach/Technical Director, Field Hockey

DEPARTMENT:                  Intercollegiate Athletics

CATEGORY:                       Non-tenured Faculty Contract (100100)

RESPONSIBILITIES:    Assist the head coach with the organization, development and implementation of a nationally competitive, Division I field hockey program.  Responsibilities will include assisting with scouting, recruiting, coaching, coordinating team travel, practice and game scheduling, tracking the academic progress of student-athletes, and serving as liaison for media, marketing, alumni, and other groups/organizations.  Develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni, media, and the general  public. 

QUALIFICATIONS:    Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, experience and/or training required. At least 3 years of Division 1 or professional international coaching and playing experience. Strong communication, technological, organizational and administrative skills required

SALARY:      Commensurate with experience.
