Terrapins Welcome Alumni Back

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Striker Angie Klingerman ('02) scored the game winner late in the second half to secure the 2-1 win for the Red alumni team this past weekend. Red Terp teammates Dina Rizzo ('02) and Meghan Dean ('11) combined to open the scoring for the Red team in the first half, but Susan Wood Burrows ('84) tied the game for the White team while Red Terps vigorously celebrated.
In the second half, it was Klingerman who kept the pressure on the White team with deep defense and found her way to the net with three minutes remaining in the game.
