POSITION VACANCY
POSITION TITLE: Assistant Coach, Baseball
DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics
CATEGORY: Non-tenured Faculty (100112)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Head Coach with the organization, development and implementation of a competitive, Division I baseball program. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, scouting, recruiting, coaching, practice and game scheduling, the administration of team budgets, and fund-raising. Developing and maintaining effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni and the general public. Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, ACC and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes are essential.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Must have at least 2-3 years experience as a coach at the collegiate level or higher. Must have knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Candidates should have administrative and organizational experience as well as computer skills.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
