Parking Information
General Information: After 4 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends, there is no charge for parking in Lots Z1 or 1b or in Regents Drive Garage. Lots R2 and R3 are limited to vehicles displaying current valid permits for the respective lots at all times. The Stadium Drive Garage is closed on weekends.

Scouting The Terps
• After defeating No. 6 North Carolina, 2-1, on Thursday Maryland is now 5-2-1 overall on the season and 1-0-0 in ACC play.
• The Terrapins opened the 2012 season with a 3-0 shutout at Navy (recap | stats) that featured a one-hour 46-minute lightning delay. Becky Kaplan scored the first two goals of the season for Maryland, while Alex Reed tallied the insurance goal. Four freshmen - Aubre Baker,Riley Barger, Shannon Collins and Sarah Molina - recorded assists in their first collegiate games.
• Maryland had a short turnaround for a match at Villanova that ended in a 0-0 tie (recap | stats). Shannon Zickler filled in for Rachelle Beanlands in net for the Terps and made four saves to record her first career shutout.
• The Terps outshot the Buckeyes, 19-10, but Ohio State took advantage of a Maryland defensive lapse to pull out a 1-0 upset (recap | stats) in Columbus, Ohio.
• Maryland fell behind George Mason 1-0, but scored the game's final three goals to earn a 3-1 win over the Patriots on Aug. 31 (Hayley Brock and freshman Alexis Prior-Brown each had one helper.
• Senior Hayley Brock each chipped in a goal and an assist as Maryland thumped Towson, 5-0 (recap | stats), in the Terps' 2012 home opener. Senior Becky Kaplan scored the first goal of the game for Maryland, giving her her third game-winning goal of the season. Redshirt freshman Amanda Gerlitz and freshman Gabby Galanti each earned their first career assists in the victory.
• Senior Hayley Brock assisted on both of Kaplan's goals with senior Olivia Wagner also getting an assist on the game-winner.
• A 30-yard strike into the upper left 90 by Kristina Maksuti in the 70th minute gave Fordham a 1-0 upset (recap | stats) of Maryland on Sept. 9 at Ludwig Field. The Terps held a 29-5 shot advantage over the Rams and had 13 corner kicks to Fordham's 0.
• Maryland bounced back in a big way - a historic way - becoming the first team ever to defeat North Carolina three times in three consecutive seasons when the Terps topped the Tar Heels, 2-1 (Hayley Brock netted the game-winner, finishing a solid ball across the box from senior Beck Kaplan in the 55th minute. Carolina made it a one-goal game on a penalty kick by Maria Lubrano in the 78th minute, but Maryland defense held off the Tar Heel charge and redshirt freshman keeper Rachelle Beanlands made two big second-half saves to preserve the history-making win.
Scouting The Tigers
• Clemson has a 5-2-2 overall record overall and a 0-1-0 mark in ACC play after dropping a 5-1 decision at No. 5 Boston College on Thursday.
• The Tigers won their first two games of the season, before dropping a 1-0 decision in overtime to Furman. After wins over Presbyterian and South Carolina, the Tigers played back-to-back 1-1 ties at Davidson and at Charlotte. Clemson then opened ACC play with a 5-1 loss at No. 5 Boston College.
• Liska Dobberstein is the Tigers' leading goal-scorer with four. Maddy Elder has been the key playmaker, contributing a team-high six assists so far this season. Hunter Rittgers has made all nine starts at keeper for the Tigers and has a 0.97 goals-against average with 33 saves.
Series History vs. the Tigers
• This will be the 23rd all-time meeting between Maryland and Clemson and the Terrapins hold a 13-8-1 lead in the series.
• Last season the Terrapin offense got a boost with the return of All-American Jasmyne Spencer, who missed four starts due to an injurt sustained at James Madison, to the starting lineup. The boost wasn't just superficial either as Spencer delivered by scoring the 10th game-winning goal of her career to give Maryland a 2-1 victory at Clemson (recap | stats) on Sept. 29. The Terps wasted no time jumping on the Tigers as junior Danielle Hubka scored in the second minute to give Maryland a 1-0 lead. Spencer then capitalized on a defensive miscue by Clemson to score unassisted in the 22nd minute. The Tigers scored in the 33rd to cut the lead back to a goal, but the Terrapin defense held out for the 2-1 win.
• In 2011 Jasmyne Spencer totaled a career-high five points on two goals and an assist to lead Maryland to a 4-0 rout of Clemson (recap | final stats). Senior Caitlin McDowell tied her career-high with four points on a goal and two assists. Senior Molly Dreska also scored in the victory, while juniors Skyy Anderson and Domenica Hodak each added assists. Redshirt junior Yewande Balogun made two saves to pick up her second full shutout of the season.
Youth Movement
• Just six games into the 2012 season and the Terrapins have already played 14 true or redshirt freshmen. That might not seem too significant until noticing that Maryland's freshmen have played more than 42% of the team's on-field minutes. Freshmen have logged 3,420 of the team's 8,140 minutes (740 minutes played x 11 players).
• But the Terp freshmen aren't just playing - they're contributing. Six freshmen - Ashley Spivey, Shannon Collins, Riley Barger, Sarah Molina, Rachelle Beanlands and Erika Nelson - have started for the Terps this season with Spivey and Collins starting every game. Freshmen have totaled 15 of the team's 46 points this season.

Jonathan Morgan
• Jonathan Morgan enters his first season at the helm of the Maryland women's soccer program after spending the previous five seasons on the Terrapin sideline as an assistant coach. He is 5-2-1 as the Terps' head coach.
Terps Toppling Top 10 Teams
• Maryland has defeated a Top 10 ranked team 19 times in its history. The Terps' most memorable Top 10 victory, 2-1 at No. 2 North Carolina on Oct. 24, tied for he highest ranked opponent ever defeated by Maryland. The Terrapins defeated No. 2 Boston College on Oct. 7 in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Those two victories mark the first time in program history that Maryland has defeated two Top 10 teams in a single month. The Terps then added to that with another 2-1 win over No. 8 Florida State on Oct. 28. The latest Top 10 win for the Terps came on Sept. 13, 2012 at Ludwig Field when Maryland defeated No. 6 North Carolina, 2-1, to become the first team in history to defeat the Tar Heels three straight times in three consecutive seasons. Starting Strong
• Maryland's 2-1 win over No. 6 North Carolina on Sept. 13 gave the Terrapins their first 1-0-0 start in conference play since 2001.
• The last time the Terps opened ACC play with a win was on Sept. 2, 2001 when Maryland defeated No 17 Duke, 2-0, at Koskinen Stadium in Durham, N.C. From 2002-11, Maryland was 0-8-2 in conference openers.
Non-Conference Success
• Dating back to its 10-0 win over Mount St. Mary's in 2008, Maryland has lost only three times in its last 39 matches vs. non-ACC opponents. The Terps have outscored its non-conference opposition 107-20 in those 38 matches.
• The Terps recorded 20 straight wins over non-ACC foes before tying Georgetown, 1-1, in second round of the NCAA tournament in 2010. Maryland is now 32-3-4 in its last 39 non-conference games. The Terps had been unbeaten in 31-straight non-conference games prior to losing, 1-0, at Oklahoma State in the Sweet 16 of the 2011 NCAA tournament. So far this season Maryland has defeated Navy, 3-0, tied Villanova, 0-0, dropped a 1-0 decision at Ohio State, topped George Mason, 3-1, thumped Towson, 5-0, pulled out a late 2-1 win at Alabama and dropped a 1-0 decision to Fordham. Maryland has one more non-conference game on its 2012 slate - an Oct. 3 home match vs. Francis Marion.
117 And Counting At Ludwig Field
• The Terps won their 100th match at Ludwig Field with a 6-0 victory over Iona on Aug. 20, 2010. Since its opening in 1995, Ludwig Field has proved to be a tremendous home-field advantage for the Terps women's soccer team. All-time Maryland is 117-48-21 (.685) at Ludwig Field.
• Through the seasons, the Terps have had a knack for shutting teams out at Ludwig Field. Maryland has won 75 of its 117 victories (64.1%) at Ludwig Field via shutout. Add in the 12 0-0 ties the Terps have had at Ludwig Field and it totals 87 times that Maryland has shutout its opponent in 186 games (46.8%).
