POWELLS POINTS, N.C. - Freshman Victor Fox led Maryland through the first round at the ODU/OBX Golf Invitational at the Kilmarlic Golf Course. Fox went one-under in the first 18 holes played Sunday. Fox's strong day put Maryland tied for sixth out of 18 teams after the first 18 holes.
Junior Connor Tendall went two-over on the day with a score of 73 to finish tied for 22nd. Junior Ben Warnquist went three-over for a 74 to be tied for 30th.
Senior Sean Bosdosh shot a 77 and and sophomore Tom Harris shot an 81.
The second round will be played Monday at 8:30 a.m. and the third round will be played Tuesday morning. Live scoring will not be available.
