The No. 17 Maryland gymnastics team begins a three-meet homestand against East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) rivals NC State, New Hampshire and Towson Friday at 7 p.m. at Comcast Center.
The Terps (4-1-1, 2-1-1 EAGL) are coming off their first loss of the season at North Carolina on Saturday. Senior Kesley Cofsky scored a personal-best 9.850 on uneven bars, and Maryland gymnasts placed first in four of five events, but the Tar Heels put forth a great effort on floor and beam to seal the win.
Maryland remains first in the EAGL with an average of 195.275 points per meet. Junior Katy Dodds ranks fourth nationally and first in the conference on vault. Dodds was named EAGL Specialist of the Week for her performance at North Carolina, where she had two first-place finishes, including a 9.900 on vault.
Sophomore
Stephanie Giameo ranks third nationally and first in the conference on balance beam. Senior
Ally Krikorian ranks 12th nationally on floor exercise and 19th nationally on vault.

Scouting the Wolfpack
NC State (3-3-1, 0-1-1) placed second in the team's first quad meet of the season against Air Force, Denver and San Jose State. The Wolfpack posted a season-best 49.200 on vault as the team totaled a 194.925.
Diahanna Ham ranks 21st nationally on vault, while the team ranks 17th on the apparatus. NC State also ranks 20th on beam and floor.
Scouting the Wildcats
New Hampshire (6-1, 4-0) won its last meet against George Washington and Yale with a 195.425. The team dominated on floor with a 49.050. The Wildcats placed first in each event except beam. Austyn Fobes posted a 39.275 to win the all-around for the second straight meet.
The Wildcats rank 18th nationally on floor and are undefeated in conference meets.
Scouting the Tigers
Towson (4-4, 0-0) won its last meet against Cornell. The Tigers posted a meet-high 48.450 on vault with Katie Sassa earning a 9.875 on the apparatus as the team scored a 192.325.
The Tigers are competing against EAGL foes for the first time on Friday.
