Summer of 2000: Began the summer training with the Northern Virginia Majestics of the W-League… played on the U-23 Maryland State amateur team.
As a junior (1999): Played in 21 of 22 games, starting 17 on defense and at midfield … posted four points on a goal and two assists … recorded a career-high three points with her first multi-point game against UMBC (9/1) in the home opener … tallied the second goal of the game for her first career game-winning goal in the 6-1 victory … also assisted Julie Nelson for the third goal of the game … second assist came in ACC Tournament win over Duke (11/4) … pass into the box hit Sara Gustafson, who scored on Maryland's only shot of the first half to give the Terps a 1-0 lead … started the final 14 games of the season, including both ACC Tournament games and both NCAA Tournament matches.
As a sophomore (1998): Started and played in the first 14 games of the season after suffering a broken right leg against William & Mary (10/16) … prior to her injury, Maryland won four straight games by shutout … scored first career goal against No. 4 Connecticut (10/11) for an upset 2-2 tie … goal came with 11:15 left in regulation against the previously undefeated Huskies … took career high three shots against NC State (9/20) and James Madison (10/6).
As a freshman (1997): Started all 22 games, drawing four starting assignments including Maryland's ACC Championship game against North Carolina … started four of the final seven games of the season … credited with first assist in a win over Penn State (10/31).
Before Maryland: An all-state first team selection at Woodbridge High School in Woodbridge, Va. during her senior season, 1996 ... participated in the Virginia Olympic Development Program from 1993-96 ... was a club teammate of fellow Terp Ali Wolff.
