On Reilly: Joined the team as a walk-on prior to the 1999 season and was one of only three goalies to earn playing time during the 1999 NCAA and ACC championship seasons … played on Maryland's club team during the fall of 1999 which went 14-0 and won the national club championship.
As a sophomore in 1999: Played in one game and allowed zero goals in 15 minutes of play against Virginia Commonwealth in the season opener (Aug. 29) … recorded her first career save against VCU and credited with her first career partial shutout as Maryland won the game 13-0 … missed most of the second half of the season with a fractured left ankle.
Before Maryland: Named all-league by the Rockland Journal News her senior season … Suffern was undefeated in league play her senior year … a member of the National Honor Society … was on the U.S. Sports Challenge team that competed in Holland during the summer of 1997.
