On Kelly: A reserve midfielder last season extremely fast with very good skills also played lacrosse for the Terps in the spring was the only student-athlete at Maryland to be on two ACC championship teams during the 1998-99 academic year.
1998 season: Scored the lone goal in the Terps' 1-0 victory over Wake Forest on Sept. 26 recorded her first collegiate goal against Richmond on Sept. 2 also scored a goal against Massachusetts on Sept. 20 missed five games due to a stress fracture but returned to action at the ACC and NCAA Tournaments.
Before Maryland: A two-time All-Met selection by the Washington Post named All-County by the Montgomery Journal her junior and senior seasons had a combined total of 43 goals her final three years as a senior, she played on the United States Field Hockey Associations (USFHA) Chesapeake Region Future's Under-19 team that won the gold medal at the Futures National Tournament invited to the USFHA A Camp in 1999.
