On Mulhern: Meghan has the attitude and work ethic to become a vital part of the team this year. Is expected to play key minutes while continuing to develop her game.
As a Junior (2005): Saw action in 27 games ... scored three goals with one assist.
As a Sophomore (2004): Played in all 12 games as one of the members of Maryland's club water polo team who joined the varsity squad when the program was elevated in status ... tallied two steals.
Before Maryland: Lettered in swimming and lacrosse all four years at Wootton High School ... also played field hockey for two seasons.
Personal: Parents are Vickie Strange-Moscoso and Joseph Mulhern ... her father swam for Towson from 1972-76 ... has two sisters, Courtney and Michaella ... also has a brother, Ethan ... enjoys skiing, water skiing, camping and photography ... was a member of the National Honor Society... named Maryland Army National Guard Scholar-Athlete in 2001 ... received the Wootton Hall of Fame Award in 2001 ... a member of Best Buddies at Maryland ... lists Juan Dixon as her favorite athlete ... chose Maryland for its location and athletics ... a psychology and linguistics major.
