On Lopez: Audrey is a smart player that is truly a good student of the game as well as out of the pool. Audrey will be expected to be a positive factor on the team, and looked to be a solid defender and good ball hander on offense.

As a Freshman (2004): Did not see any game action.

Before Maryland: Lettered in swimming for four years at Saint Marks High School ... was tri-captain of the swim team her senior year.

Personal: Parents are Deb and Rich Lopez ... has a brother, Chris, and a sister, Elana ... was a Blue Gold Ambassador and her senior class secretary in high school ... lists swimmer Jenny Thompson as her favorite athlete ... a business major and a Spanish minor.
