College Park is hosting both quarterfinal
and final round events.
Byrd Stadium
The 27th Annual NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships will return to Byrd
Stadium on the campus of the University of Maryland, College Park.
Maryland has hosted seven previous NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse
Championships, including the last four (1972,1979,1989,1993,1994,1995 and 1996).
Suggestions for NCAA lacrosse fans:
1. Purchase your game tickets AND parking pass in advance. The
parking pass will include a map to direct you to the stadium and
priority parking lots.
2. Arrive early and tailgate. Parking lots will open three hours
before game time.
3. Those spectators not purchasing advance parking passes will park
in the general parking lots. Again, we strongly recommend that
spectators purchase their parking pass in advance.
Directions to Byrd Stadium
From Baltimore and North: Interstate 95 South to Exit 25 College
park/U.S. Route 1 South. After approximately one mile, exit off of
U.S. 1 on to Maryland Route 193 West. Go two traffic lights to
Stadium Drive. Make a left turn and Byrd Stadium is straight ahead.
From Baltimore/Washington International Airport: Interstate 195
West to Interstate 95 South. Travel to Exit 25 and fol- directions
above to Byrd Stadium.
From Washington National Airport Interstate 395 North until it ends
at New York Avenue. Turn right on to New York Avenue and exit to
Baltimore Washington Parkway (Maryland Route 295). Exit at Greenbelt
Road (Maryland Route 193 West) and follow three miles to Stadium
Drive.
From Washington/Richmond and South: Interstate 95 North until
exit 25, College Park/U.S. Route 1 South. Follow above directions to
Byrd Stadium.
From Dulles International Airport and West: Dulles Toll Road to
Interstate 495 East. Take Beltway, which will change to Interstate 95
South, for approximately 25 minutes to Exit 25. Follow above
directions to Byrd Stadium.
