All-America Tradition
Maryland boasts a total of 82 NSCAA All-Americans and has had at least one student-athlete on the prestigious list in each of the last 11 seasons.
The program has garnered four two-time first team honorees, including Charley Ernst (1939-40), Jim Belt (1947-48), Giancalo Bradoni (1967-68), and Sumed Ibrahim (2002-03).
Recent greats such as
Patrick Mullins (2012), Zac MacMath and Matt Kassel (2010), Omar Gonzalez (2008), Maurice Edu (2006), Jason Garey (2005), and
Scott Buete (2003) have also landed first team status.
John Stertzer recently captured his second consecutive third team nod in 2012.
