On Arrington: Terps' leading receiver last season who returns for his senior campaign ... begins his second season atop the Maryland depth chart ... former track sprinter and big-play speedster who has all-conference capabilities ... has the quickness and speed to get deep ... noted for playing hard from snap to whistle ... four catches for 92 yards and a 57-yard touchdown in spring game.

1998: Moved into a starting role before the opening game vs. James Madison ... played in 10 games while leading the Terps with 23 catches, 366 yards and a 15.9-yard average ... missed the West Virginia game with an ankle injury, and started in nine games ... also carried three times for 78 yards, including a 50-yard TD in a 42-15 win at Duke ... was the recipient of Maryland's longest touchdown pass of the season, a 68-yard play ... caught at least one pass in nine of 10 games played ... hauled in five aerials for 78 yards in Terrapin opener vs. James Madison ... honored by Maryland coaches as the offensive back/receiver player of the game against JMU ... had three catches, 88 yards and his only receiving TD against Wake Forest ... was Maryland's top kickoff return man with eight returns for 189 yards and a 23.6-yard average ... longest return was 44 yards at North Carolina.

1997: Walked on to the program in the spring of 1997 after transferring from Memphis and Prince George's Community College ... sat out the '97 campaign while satisfying NCAA transfer regulations.

High School: Graduated from Bowie High School in 1995 ... earned all-county and All-Met honors ... was selected his team MVP as a junior and senior ... earned track MVP honors as a senior, when he finished second in the state in the 100 meters ... won four gold medals at the P.G. County meet: 100, 200, 400 relay, and 800 relay ... high school coach was Gary Wrenn.
