On Fiddler: A good athlete who began last season with the possibility of playing on either side of the ball (fullback or linebacker) but will head into 2003 atop the depth chart at fullback … solid in every aspect as a fullback … a strong isolation blocker who also has good pass-catching skills … played linebacker and fullback in high school -- and was originally slated to play defense at Maryland -- but was placed on the offensive side of the ball during fall of his true freshman campaign … an Iron Terp with a 658 strength index and 525-pound squat.
2002 (Junior): Saw action in all 14 games … got more playing time in the second half of the season … finished the year with seven carries for 21 yards and one reception for 12 yards ... (at UNC) ... had three carries for 10 yards ... (vs. GT) ... had the key block on Chris Downs' 64-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter ...
