On Henley: An athletic senior who is one of the most versatile members of the Terp linebacking corps … could see action at the “Will” or “Mike” linebacker spot this season … an intelligent, coachable player who will, at a minimum, see action on special teams … played just one year of organized football before deciding to walk on at Maryland in the fall of 2000 … elected to join the Terps after friends at a local gym urged him to try out … posted the highest strength index (743) of any Maryland linebacker this offseason … Iron Terp with a 370-pound bench and 650-pound squat.
2002 (Junior): Saw action in all 14 games, starting two … finished with 21 tackles (16 solo), a half of a sack and one quarterback hurry ... (at UVa) ... had three solo tackles ... combined with Randy Starks on a sack for one yard ... (vs. GT) ... made two tackles (one solo) ... had one QB hurry ...
