Vongphoumy Wins Big Ten Golfer of the Week Award

CHICAGO – Juliet Vongphoumy was named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week for her performance at the JU Classic.
The senior earned a second place finish with a two-under par score of 214 (73-70-71).
This is the first ever Big Ten Golfer of the Week award for Vongphoumy and for the Terrapins.
The Rhode Island native has led the Terps through the fall season with three top-seven finishes.
Maryland will wrap up its fall season at the Palmetto Intercollegiate in Kiawah Island, S.C. beginning Oct. 26.
