
Terps in 16th After Round One at Palmetto

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - The Maryland women's golf team is in 16th place at the Palmetto Intercollegiate with a first-round score of 309.
Senior Juliet Vongphoumy and freshman Kavita Sehmi are leading the Terrapins with scores of 74. Vongphoumy and Sehmi sit tied for 23rd place overall.
Heidi Baek follows with a 78 and is currently tied for 56th. Alexandra Papell and Panitta Yusabai round out the group with scores of 83 and 89, respectively.
Coastal Carolina is in first place with a score of 282. The Terps begin second-round play on Monday at 9 a.m.
