KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - The Maryland women's golf team is in 16^th place at the Palmetto Intercollegiate with a first-round score of 309.

Senior Juliet Vongphoumy and freshman Kavita Sehmi are leading the Terrapins with scores of 74. Vongphoumy and Sehmi sit tied for 23^rd place overall.

Heidi Baek follows with a 78 and is currently tied for 56^th. Alexandra Papell and Panitta Yusabai round out the group with scores of 83 and 89, respectively.

Coastal Carolina is in first place with a score of 282. The Terps begin second-round play on Monday at 9 a.m.
