
Terps in 15th After Two Rounds at Palmetto

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - The Maryland women's golf team is in 15th place after Monday's second round action at the Palmetto Intercollegiate with a score of 619 (309-310).
Juliet Vongphoumy has paced the Terrapins with a score of 147 (74-73). The senior is tied for 14th place overall.
Rookie Kavita Sehmi follows Vongphoumy with a 150 (74-76) and is tied for 27th.
Alexandra Papell shot par in the second round and is currently tied for 58th with a score of 155 (83-72).
Heidi Baek and Panitta Yusabai round out the group with scores of 167 (78-89) and 178 (89-89), respectively.
Coastal Carolina is in the lead with a team score of 572 (282-290). The Terrapins begin final round play Tuesday with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start.
