
Terps Set for Strong Finish at Nittany Lion Invite

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Juliet Vongphoumy posted a 72 Saturday to lead the Maryland women's golf team at the Nittany Lion Invitational.
Vongphoumy – who is currently tied for eighth place - shot for par to move to +5 for the tourney with a 149. After notching a team-best 73 on Friday, Heidi Baek is one behind Vongphoumy with a 150 through two rounds and is tied for 13th.
Alexandra Papell is +10 after posting a 77 Saturday. She heads into Sunday's final round tied for 31st.
Jessica Gregory – who is currently tied for 48th - shaved a stroke off her first-round score with a 79 Saturday and has recorded a 159 through two rounds. Kavita Sehmi knocked off 13 strokes her Friday tally with an 80 in the second round. Panitta Yusabai notched a 90 Saturday.
Maryland is in seventh place heading into the third and final round Sunday with a two-day team score of 612.
