COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland athletics department celebrated graduation day with many of their senior student-athletes and their family and friends as part of Saturday's December Commencement. A reception was held prior to the main ceremony as Maryland student-athletes prepared for a memorable day.

A total of 24 student-athletes officially earned degrees Saturday.

“We are all very excited and proud for our student-athletes who graduated this past weekend,” Anderson said. “The most fulfilling part of our job is when our student-athletes earn their degrees from the University of Maryland. Their tireless commitment and dedication to their academics and respective athletic programs are exemplary. We wish our 24 graduates continued success and thank them again for their loyalty and hard work during their time as a Terp.”
