The Director of Business Operations is responsible for assisting the Associate Director of Athletics for Business in the overall financial and business management of the department. Responsibilities include: daily entry into and monthly reconciling of charges to the BA Central Financial System; preparation and distribution of monthly financial statements; review and reconciliation of monthly departmental working fund statements; oversight of all purchase orders for the department along with associated invoices; serving as the primary liaison with the University's Department of Transportation, Department of Procurement and Supply, and Accounts Payable; monthly reconciliation of Diner's Club departmental travel card; assistance with preparation of financial statements for annual NCAA agreed upon procedures review; oversight of student employees and coordinating of student work schedules as well as supervise 1-2 accountants in the Business Office. This individual will assist the Associate AD for Business and Sr. Associate AD/CFO with special projects as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a business related field. Must have 4-6 years of experience, preferably in a collegiate athletic business office. A minimum of one year supervisory experience, preferred.
