Assistant Director for Operations/Administration

The Assistant Director for Operations/Administration reports directly to the Director of Football Operations with support to the Recruiting Coordinator. The duties and responsibilities for this position include providing project scope, strategic plan and execution process for Fusion Sports Marketing and Social Media platform, act as the liaison between Fusion Sports Marketing and other groups, execution of mailing series, and serve as the direct report for the Social Media Coordinator; assist with all aspects of recruiting events (official, unofficial visit, Junior Days) with respect to arrangements, receptions, housing assignments, financial records, itineraries and all corresponding documents; assist with interview and screening process for potential student workers, manage on-boarding process in connection with human resources to coordinate employee paperwork, pay schedule, create student-worker weekly schedule and serve as point of contact on a day to day basis, and oversee their implementation in regards to events; assist with the budget creation, track and maintain current budget standing and information, compile and review budget materials, and generate projections and reports when necessary; and assist with Summer School and Winter Sessions Coordination, assist and support with in-season travel to include team hotels, team travel, itineraries, and other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach or Director of Operations.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. A minimum of three years of experience in a professional or college athletics environment required. Must have outstanding communication and organizational skills. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. Three years of experience in a professional or college athletics environment at the NFL or NCAA FBS level preferred.
