Terrapins to Host Pair of Exhibitions This Weekend

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland field hockey team will host two exhibition events this weekend at the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex that are both open to fans.
The Terps will host their annual Red/White intra-squad scrimmage at noon Saturday and Old Dominion in an exhibition Sunday at 3 p.m. Admission and parking are free for both events.
Coming off of its sixth straight Final Four appearance, Maryland will officially open the 2014 season Aug. 29 vs. Massachusetts at 5 p.m. in the Conference Cup at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Lancaster, Pa. The Terps will take on Northeastern Sunday, Aug. 31 at 1 p.m. in their second game in the Conference Cup, before returning home to host North Carolina Friday, Sept. 5 at 4 p.m.
Tickets to the Conference Cup are $8 for adults and $5 for students (with student ID) and children under 14. Fans can purchase a $45 package for all four games of the Conference Cup that includes admission to a clinic Saturday hosted by Maryland and Temple. The clinic is from 12-2 p.m. and is $35 per athlete. Parking is included in admission. Log on to www.spookynooksports.com to register.
