Terps Head to Chapel Hill to Open Season

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's golf team will open the 2014-15 season this weekend in the Tar Heel Invitational at the Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C. The Terrapins will tee off Friday at 8 a.m.
The teams competing will play 18 holes a day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Live scoring will be available at http://www.golfstatresults.com/public/leaderboards/gsnav.cfm?pg=participants&tid=6166.
The Terrapins will be competing against Boston College, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Davidson, East Carolina, Elon, Furman, Gardner Webb, George Mason, GRU-Augusta, Kennesaw State, Mercer, North Carolina, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, UT-Chattanooga and Virginia Commonwealth.
The UNC Finley Golf Course is a par 72 that covers 7,242 yards.
