Terp Town Open Prior to West Virginia Kickoff

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Terp fans are encouraged to come experience the attractions and enjoy the family atmosphere at Terp Town this Saturday before the Maryland football team takes on West Virginia. The official pregame event of Maryland football, Terp Town is free and opens three hours before kickoff.
This week, Terp Town will feature live music from Warden, a beer garden (with discounts for TCSF and Alumni Association members) and food vendors, including Maryland Burger & Grill Co.
Fans can great the team bus arrival at 9:45 a.m. alongside the Mighty Sound of Maryland, the cheerleaders, Dance Team and Testudo.
Numerous kids' activities are also planned for the youngest Terp fans at Legacy Plaza, including face painting, inflatable games and a balloon artist. There will also be an appearance by Kermit the Frog and a sword fight demonstration from Medieval Times. Kids can build an instrument at the Bombshell Boom Boom Build-a-Band station and see a performance from the Fruits Daredevil Aerial Dance Troupe.
The festivities begin three hours prior to kickoff and conclude 30 minutes prior to the start of the game. An express shuttle service is available and provides convenient transportation from the XFINITY Center parking lots to the STAMP Student Union, which is just a 1/8 mile walk from Terp Town.
