
Terps in Second After 36 Holes at Forest Oaks

Greensboro, N.C. - The Maryland women's golf team is tied for second place after day one action at the Forest Oaks Fall Classic.
Alexandra Papell has paced the Terps with a 36-hole score of 144 (70, 74) and currently sits in second place in the individual standings.
With a score of 150 (75, 75), Juliet Vongphoumy is tied for 13th place while Kavita Sehmi is tied for 23rd with a 153 (79, 74).
Jessica Gregory and Heidi Baek round out the group with scores of 161 (81, 80) and 166 (86, 80), respectively.
The Terrapins, who are tied with Rollins and James Madison, are nine strokes behind Elon for first place.
Maryland will make a push for the top position beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday.
