Hey Terps Fans!
Well, it's safe to say this past week was exciting considering we just made history! On Thursday, we had our first BIG TEN WIN in Maryland Gymnastics History and are now (1-0) in the BIG TEN! It was such an intense meet and we had to fight for everything. Going into the last event, we were only up by 0.025, so we knew we had to bring it home on floor… And that's exactly what we did. There are seldom things better than bringing home a 'B1G' win in front of your home crowd!
After our win, we have a nice little two day break to rest our bodies, then Sunday we were back in the gym with one focus: BEAT PENN STATE. On Friday, we kick off our first road trip with a bus ride to Penn State. We are excited and pumped to go into their house and show them just what we are made of this year. Tune in on Saturday at 4pm to watch us! Can't wait! And mark your calendars for our next home meet: February 7th!!
