Hey Terp Fans!
It has been an exciting week for us as we are preparing for our first meet of the season! Not only is it on our home turf, but we are teaming up with the Maryland wrestling team for the inaugural “Beauty and the Beast” meet. We will be competing at the same time on the same floor in the XFINITY Center on Friday, January 9th at 7pm. This is the first time we have done this type of event so come out and support us!
We also set goals as a team for the upcoming season this week. We set the bar high, and are very excited to work towards achieving them. We have them written on a board in the gym, so that every day when we come into practice we are reminded of why we are here and what we are after. We can't wait to show the Big Ten what we're made of and start this year off with a bang!
This team is hungry for victory and we are ready for any situation that comes our way. There is so much new talent this year and it is so great to see girls who suffered injuries last year coming back and dominating it in the gym. I can't wait to see what amazing things this team can accomplish this year and we hope you will follow along with us as we make history! Hope to see everyone Friday and as always, GO TERPS!
