Assistant Director of Productions

The Assistant Director of Productions will work as a member of the Intercollegiate Athletics Video Services staff, and be under the direct supervision of the Director of Video Services. Responsibilities include: produce in-house production of external & internal video content (including, but not limited to: TV spots, Promotional Web/Social Viral videos, highlight videos and special departmental videos); serve as the primary videographer and editor for website and TerpsTV content; interact with outside vendors and manage TerpsTV video content, to include producing original content and managing project schedules; produce and edit original content for Terpvision live event productions; collaborate with coaches to produce, film and edit original recruiting videos and highlight videos for Olympic sports; and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required in RTVF, Video Production, or Broadcast Journalism. A minimum of three years experience in the video office of an intercollegiate athletic program or professional sports organization required. Demonstrated ability in videography and lighting. Demonstrated ability in editing, specifically with Final Cut, and Adobe Creative Suite. Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Must be able to work flexible hours, including frequent evenings and weekends, and frequent travel with teams may be required.
