Hills on the Run: Quarterback Perry Hills ran for 124 yards on a career-high 26 carries. He also had 170 rush yards last game against Ohio State. It was the first time a Maryland player had back-to-back 100-yard rushing performances since C.J. Brown accomplished the feat in 2011: vs. Ga. Tech (124 yds – 10/8/11) and vs. Clemson (10/15/11).
Offensive Output: The Maryland offense racked up 466 yards of total offense – the most since totaling 479 yards in the season-opener against Richmond on Sep. 5.
Ngakoue in the Backfield: Junior defensive end Yannick Ngakoue had another nice day in the opponent's backfield, totaling 2.0 sacks. He ranked sixth in the nation in sacks coming into the game and now totals 9.0 for the season. He moved into a tie for 12th all-time on the Maryland career sack list with Joe Campbell (1973-76).
Knocking the Ball Loose: Senior Sean Davis forced a fumble – it was his fifth forced fumble in seven games this season, a mark that ranks second in Maryland history behind Joel Goode (6 – 1987).
Offensive Notes: Junior Malcolm Culmer posted a career-high 65 reception yards … junior DeAndre Lane caught his first career touchdown pass … senior Brandon Ross scored his 12th career rushing touchdown … senior Brad Craddock connected on three field goals for the eighth time his career, matching his career-high.
