Solomon Eye Terp of the Week: Anna Dessoye

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Each week during the 2015-16 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is Anna Dessoye of field hockey.
Dessoye led Maryland with a game-winning goal and three assists in the Terps' two wins this weekend.
She scored the gamewinner over Indiana in the eighth minute of overtime to clinch the Terps' second straight Big Ten title. After 70 scoreless minutes in regulation time, the Terrapins and the Hoosiers went to 7 vs. 7 overtime. Dessoye tipped in the winning shot to give the Terps their 12th straight win.
In Sunday's 6-0 rout of Towson, Dessoye dished three assists, which put her over the 50-career assist mark. She is just the sixth Terrapin in history to reach 50 career assists.
