COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland volleyball team takes on its sixth ranked opponent in as many matches when the Terps travel to Minneapolis to face No. 3 Minnesota Wednesday.
• The Terps (13-17, 3-13 B1G) and Gophers (23-3, 15-1) tangle at 7 p.m. in the Sports Pavilion. The match will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.

• For the fourth straight match, the Terps took a set off a ranked foe but ultimately fell the No. 8 Nebraska in four sets.
• Freshman outsider hitter Liz Twilley tied for the match lead with 15 kills - including the set two winning kill - while hitting .286. Senior defensive specialist Amy Dion and freshman libero Kelsey Wicinski each notched 12 digs.

• The Gophers upset then-No. 1 Penn State in straight sets last Saturday. Three Gophers hit double-digit kills, led by 12 from Sarah Wilhite.
• Daly Santana leads the Big Ten with 4.53 kills per set and is fourth in the conference with 0.32 aces per set. Samantha Seliger-Swenson ranks second in the Big Ten with 11.38 assists per set. Three Gophers are averaging over 1.00 blocks per set, led by Paige Tapp (1.26).
• The Gophers swept the Terps earler this season on Oct. 9. Maryland is 0-6 all-time vs. Minnesota. The Gophers are 11-0 at home this season.

• The Terps have proven one of the best in the Big Ten in serving, posting 1.39 service aces per set. Maryland has 152 total service aces on the season, 25 more than the next team.
• Senior outside hitter Adreené Elliott ranks 10th in the conference with 0.26 service aces on the season. All but two of Elliott's service aces have come in conference play, and she is averaging a Big Ten-best 0.45 aces per set in 16 conference matches.
• Four Terps are averaging at least 0.20 service aces per set: Elliott (0.26), Kelsey Wicinski (0.24), Abigail Bentz (0.22) and Amy Dion (0.21).

elliott, dion reach career milestones
• Senior outside hitter Adreené Elliott posted her 1,000 career kill against Morgan State in the Terps' season opener vs. Morgan State. Elliott ranks sixth all-time in Maryland history with 1,255 career kills.
• Senior DS/libero Amy Dion reached the 1,000 digs mark at Oklahoma. Dion currently ranks eighth all-time in the Maryland record books with 1,093 digs.
terps set xfinity center pavilion attendance record
• Maryland set a new XFINITY Center Pavilion attendance record with 1,752 fans as the Terps fell to No. 9 Illinois last Friday.
• The previous attendance record was set on Sept. 16, 2006. The new attendance record ranks fourth in Maryland history.
• Since Steve Aird became head coach prior to the 2014 season, the Terps have set five of the top-10 attendance records in program history.

• With a win over Rutgers, Maryland reached 11 wins on the season, passing last season's 10 wins.
