After another eventful week in the National Football League, there is no debate once again as to who was the top performer amongst former Terrapins in Week 8 action.
Minnesota Vikings rookie standout wide receiver Stefon Diggs continued to dazzle with his impressive playmaking ability in the open field, as the Vikings improved to 5-2 with the help of another Diggs touchdown.
Through four games played this season, Diggs' numbers are remarkable: 25 catches, 419 yards, 16.8 yards/catch, two touchdowns. He is one of just four receivers in the NFL averaging more than 100 receiving yards/g, joining an elite group in 2015 that includes Alshon Jeffery, Julio Jones and DeAndre Hopkins.
Stefon Diggs is causing serious problems. Like game-tying, pure muscle, huge 4th-quarter TD problems. #MINvsCHI https://t.co/p3r8426ycJ

In major transaction news, veteran Vernon Davis was traded from the San Francisco 49ers to the Denver Broncos on Tuesday, ending an illustrious 55-touchdown career with the 49ers that spanned 10 seasons.
Davis will have the luxury of playing with future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning, who is well known for utilizing tight ends throughout his career (Dallas Clark, Julius Thomas, etc.)
Here is a rundown of how the rest of the former Terps performed this past weekend in the NFL:
