COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Due to poor field conditions at Shipley Field at Bob “Turtle” Smith Stadium, the Maryland baseball team's game with Richmond Wednesday has been moved to Harford Community College in Bel Air, Md.

First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. Fans can attend the game free of charge at the Harford Sports Complex (01 Thomas Run Rd, Bel Air, MD 21015).

Maryland's home opener will now be Friday's contest against Princeton, with action scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
