Terps Ready for Rebel Intercollegiate

COLLEGE PARK, Md.- After finishing off the Briar's Creek Invitational strong, shooting a tournament-best round of a 302 on the final day, the Maryland women's golf team will look to continue that positive momentum when they travel to Oxford, Miss., this weekend to participate in the Rebel Intercollegiate Tournament.
Maryland will join Alabama State, Clemson, East Tennessee State, Fresno State, Furman, Harvard, Kennesaw State, Kent State, Memphis, Mercer, Murray State, Ole Miss, Samford, Southern Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Tulsa as teams participating this weekend. The tournament will take place at the Ole Miss Golf Course- a par 72 course (4,849 yards).
The first round will tee off on Friday at 8:51 am.
The Terps lineup for this weekend will be Juliet Vongphoumy, Heidi Baek, Panitta Yusabai, Brooke Kochevar, and Kavita Sehmi.
Baek led the team last time out, finishing tied for 12th shooting a 219. Vongphoumy finished tied for 26th with a 223.
