Kocher Named to All-Big Ten Second Team

ROSEMONT, Ill. - Freshman David Kocher of the Maryland men's golf team was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team the league announced Tuesday. Kocher was also awarded a Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.
Kocher was named to the All-Big Ten Tournament Team Sunday after finishing tied for third in the Big Ten Championship. He finished two-under par on the weekend with a score of 286 (70-68-72-76).
The rookie picked up four top-10 finishes and seven in the top 20 in the Terps' 10 tournaments on the year.
Kocher is one of 12 players in the Big Ten to earn All-Conference honors.
