Vongphoumy Named B1G Women's Golfer of the Week

CHICAGO - Juliet Vongphoumy was named Big Ten Women's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.

The senior from Providence, R.I., carded a three-round, two-under par score of 214 (72-74-68) to finish tied for third at the Rebel Intercollegiate on the campus of Ole Miss last weekend.

Led by Vongphoumy, the Terps finished seventh in a highly-competitive field at the Rebel Intercollegiate.

This is Vongphoumy's second Big Ten Golfer of the Week Award. She also won on Oct. 15, 2014.

The Terps travel to Columbus for the Lady Buckeye Spring Invite April 18.
