Kocher, Tendall Earn PING All-Region Honors

SARASOTA, Fla. - Freshman David Kocher and senior Connor Tendall of the Maryland men's golf team were named to the Division I PING All-Northeast Region Team this weekend. This is the first All-Region honor for both Terrapins.
Kocher received a bid to NCAA Regionals as an individual competitor earlier this year. He was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team and was also awarded a Big Ten Sportsmanship Award. The rookie picked up four top-10 finishes and seven in the top 20 in the Terps' 10 tournaments on the year.
Tendall picked up three top 10 finishes and six top 20 finishes this year.
