The Recruiting Analyst is responsible for the cultivation of recruiting areas; serve as the liaison to high school coaches working within the framework of all NCAA rules and regulations; gather information on all high school prospects with the permissible resources available; securing and analyzing transcripts for selected prospects in collaboration with Compliance and Admissions staff; update the recruiting database (OT Scout, ACS) and daily logs; collaborate with the planning and execution of the twelve (12) month vision of the recruiting calendar (mail, video, graphics, social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.); organize and participate in all recruiting functions; conduct recruiting research and prepare statistical reports; create weekly informational reports relative to the recruitment process for prospective student-athletes; monitor recruiting recaps during the spring and winter recruiting periods; stay abreast of NCAA, Big Ten and University rules and regulations pertaining to initial eligibility and recruitment; and provide additional support in the organization and administration of the football program's recruiting efforts as directed by the Director of Player Personnel and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. A minimum of one year of experience in a sports management or related field required. Must have outstanding communication and organizational skills. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. One year of experience in a college athletics environment preferably at the NCAA FBS level.
