
Former Terp Arias Leads Colombia to Pan Am Final

TORONTO – Former University of Maryland soccer player Nataly Arias helped the Colombian Women's National Soccer Team earn a 1-0 win over Canada in the semifinals of the Pan American Games Wednesday night.
With the win, Colombia advanced to face Brazil in the final, which is scheduled for 6:25 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will be shown live on ESPN3.com and the WatchESPN app.
Arias played all 90 minutes in defense against the Canadians. She scored the winning goal against Argentina in Columbia's final group match and is a part of a defensive unit that has given up just one goal in 360 minutes in the tournament.
