COLLEGE PARK, Md. – As the Maryland volleyball team continues its first week of preseason training, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets for the 2015 season as the Terps face the nation's elite in the XFINITY Center.
In their second season in the Big Ten, the Terps host an exciting home slate against some of the country's top talents. Maryland will take on seven opponents that were ranked or received votes in the preseason AVCA Coaches Poll in 2015, including defending national champion Penn State.
Fans can purchase 2015 season tickets for $40 for adults or $25 for youths (3-17) or seniors (62+). Maryland fans can also purchase a Maryland Athletics Pride Pass, which includes admission to all men's and women's soccer games, volleyball matches, wrestling matches, men's and women's lacrosse games and baseball games. Pride Passes start at $99 for the year.
Single-match tickets are available online here starting at $6 for adults and $4 for youths/seniors. Groups of 15 or more can purchase tickets for $3 per person.
Maryland ranked No. 25 in the nation in attendance last season with an average of 1,539 fans per match. The Terps were picked to finish 13th in the conference in 2015. Penn State was selected as the preseason favorite to win the Big Ten Championship.
