GAITHERSBURG, Md. - The 2015 Maryland Pride Tour concluded at Smokey Glen Farm as Terrapin coaches and athletic department staff met with fans Friday.
Head coaches Cathy Reese (women's lacrosse) and Andrew Valmon (track & field) addressed Terrapin Club Scholarship fund and Maryland Alumni Association members on the importance of support for student-athletes. Men's basketball assistant coach Cliff Warren and director of operations Nima Omidvar also spoke to the crowd.
"What a beautiful night for this event," Reese said. "It's always great to see passionate Maryland fans come out and support the Terps. Donors and fans are so important to our program, and they are a big part of why we are so successful."
Fans in attendance were treated to an all-you-can-eat crab feast and barbeque buffet. There was also a raffle of Maryland gear.
