Hey Terp fans!
What an exciting week it has been. Finally, after months of hard work in the gym, the season has arrived! We are so excited for this year and ready to take the floor!! The GymTerps started our season off really strong at the quad meet against Pitt, Towson, and Eastern Michigan- January 10th. The meet was held at the University of Pittsburgh where we got to take the big Maryland bus to! It was a great 4 and a half hours of team bonding for the first meet. We ended up getting two wins over Pitt and Towson!! With an all around team score of 194.4- the GymTerps are officially ranked 25th in the country!
Our freshman really shined this meet and we are very proud of them.
Now our next focus is to get back in the gym and improve on anything we feel needs work. This will be a short turn around week because the Minnesota Gophers are waiting for us at home this Saturday! Our first B1G Ten meet of the season!!!
