
Terps Compete Over Winter Break

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Several members of the Maryland women's golf team spent time working on their game over the winter break, participating at various tournaments across the U.S.
Brooke Kochevar finished tied for 30th in the championship flight at the Harder Hall Women's Invitational. After recording an 81 in round one, she posted a 74, 78 and 77 for a four-round tally of 310.
Ludovica Farina took 17th place at the South Atlantic Women's Amateur Championship, also known as the SALLY, which dates back to 1926 and continues to field contestants from all over the world in Ormond Beach, Fla. The freshman went 73-80-77-72 for a four-round total of 302.
Alexandra Papell finished 16th at the Orlando International Amateur. Papell went 78-78-79 for a three-round tally of 235.
Maryland begins the spring season at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in San Juan on Saturday, Feb. 13.
