COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Each week during the 2015-16 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is Shatori Walker-Kimbrough of women's basketball.
Walker-Kimbrough scored 22 points and made a career-best six 3-pointers, leading No. 5 Maryland to a 90-65 victory Wednesday night over Wisconsin, the 900th win in program history. Walker-Kimbrough went 6-for-6 from beyond the arc, scoring Maryland's first 11 straight points.
The Terrapin trailed 20-15 at the end of the first quarter, then went outscored the Badgers 34-10 in the second. She scored 11 points in each of the first two quarters. Walker-Kimbrough currently leads the country in three-point FG percentage on the year at 59.4 percent (38-64).
