The Director of Events and Stewardship is an important part of the Athletic Development team and will report directly to the Sr. Associate AD for Stewardship & Alumni Relations. He/She will be responsible for planning and executing all athletic development events, which includes events for the Terrapin Club Scholarship Fund (TCSF). Additionally, this position will play an important role in executing many stewardship efforts ensuring that donors feel appreciated for their gifts and confident that their philanthropy helped advance Maryland Athletics in support of its mission.
Bachelor's Degree required; Experience working with major events; Ability to multitask; Ability to work well under pressure; Ability to maintain a high-level of customer service for donors while keeping-up in a very fast-paced environment; Availability to work some nights and weekends. Master's Degree in Sports Management/Administration preferred. Knowledge and experience with NCAA rules and regulations preferred.
