
Terps Solid on Day One of Cougar Classic

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Maryland women's golf team is tied for 13th after shooting a four-over par in the opening round of the 2016 Cougar Classic Sunday.
Sophomore Ludovica Farina led the Terps on day one with a two-under (70) and is tied for 15th in a competitive field.
Freshman Xiaolin Tian shot a one-over (73) for the Terps and is currently tied for 36th.
Sophomore Ludovica Scandroglio is tied for 51st with a two-over (74) on Sunday.
Lauren Salazar and Panitta Yusabai each posted a three-over (75) to tie for 72nd heading into second round action Monday.
