
Terps in Ninth Place After Day One at Cardinal Cup

LOUISVILLE - The Maryland women's golf team sits in ninth place in a competitive field after the opening round of the Cardinal Cup Sunday.
Sophomore Ludovica Farina – who hit a hole-in-one in practice play – led the Terps along with freshman Xiaolin Tian with a 78 on day one to tie for 28th.
Ludovica Scandroglio hit a 79 to tie for 39th while Lauren Salazar and Panitta Yusabai each hit an 80 to tie for 44th.
The Terps resume action with second round play on Monday morning at the University of Louisville golf course.
