COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Senior offensive lineman Michael Dunn has been named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten for the second straight year, the league announced on Wednesday. Dunn was voted Honorable Mention All-Big Ten by both the league coaches and the media.
Dunn anchored Maryland's offensive line, which paved the way for the Terps to average 205.5 rushing yards per game. Maryland ranks third in the Big Ten in rushing, trailing only Ohio State and Michigan.
Dunn started 11 games for the Terps in 2016, including 10 starts at left tackle. The former preferred walk-on has started 48 career games.
Dunn joins junior linebackers Jermaine Carter, Jr. and Shane Cockerille as Terps that garnered Honorable Mention All-Big Ten honors in 2016.
Maryland, which became bowl eligible with a 31-13 win over Rutgers on Saturday, will learn its bowl destination and opponent on Sunday, Dec. 4.
